Welcome to Rockhopper Gallery
I've always enjoyed photographing the outdoors. From macro close-ups of insects and tiny flowers - to panoramic views from mountain overlooks, I try to capture the beauty that is all around us - and, all too often, overlooked.
Sometime in 2006, I picked up an ordinary pencil and a pad of scratch-paper, and started sketching scenes inspired by views I had seen during my hikes in the Great Smoky Mountains. I gradually progressed from those quick, simple sketches, completed in an hour or less – to the detailed renderings you will find here, and on my facebook page.
Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoy browsing my collection of photos and drawings. While you're here, be sure to visit my catalog of images available for purchase as prints or note-cards.
